May 1 came so we are "on the road
again". It was a GREAT winter in Arizona, but
the weather is getting pretty warm already! We
will make our way to Yellowstone to start working
there for the summer.
We finished up April with
having the grandkids spending the night one more
time before we left. We took them to a theatre to see
the new movie, Jungle Book. (We
recommend it.) The
next morning we watched the Jungle Book DVD. It was fun
for them to see it and hear the songs that were
not in the new movie.
We also took them swimming
in the park pool a couple of times. They also
fed the big fish in one of the many ponds on the
park property. We
even let them use our pickleball paddles to hit
the ball around on the court. We see why it is a
good sport for all ages!
We will take a couple of
weeks to travel to Yellowstone stopping to see
Lake Havasu Ariz, Hoover Dam, Bryce and Zion
National Parks. 2016
is the 100th anniversary of the
National Park System so there are many special
events planned for this year. Hope you can
make it to at least one of the National Parks.
If you get to Yellowstone
this summer, please stop by the Old Faithful
General Store to see if we are working that day.
