September in Hayward

I sure enjoyed having flowered plants on my picnic table at our site. How beautiful they are. When we lived in Colorado it had been many years since I spent money on flowers.  When I did spend the money, the flowers usually didn’t last very long before they were destroyed by a hail storm.

A childhood friend was in Northern Wisconsin this summer so she stopped by for a cup of coffee.  She grew up on the same street as our family when we lived in Lindenhurst, Illinois.  Annie Amerika was travelling the country passing out free American flags.  Please check out her blog at http://www.annieamerika.org/

We sure enjoyed our time at the Hayward KOA in the Northwoods of Wisconsin.  The summer of 2015 was fun but it went fast!

We are now in Colorado for most of October visiting Sarah, Kathie’s Mom and friends.  Next we head to California for most of November to visit Stephanie and Daniel.   We will celebrate Thanksgiving with them before we head to Arizona for the winter.

We will be parked at Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort in Casa Grande, AZ.  We have a workamper job there for about 20 hours a week for each of us.  We will be helping in the activities department with set-up and take-down and also the monthly craft fair.  We are very excited to be 20 minutes away from Jennifer, Ray and the grandkids in Maricopa AZ.  We are looking forward to seeing them over the 5 months we will be there.
