We parked in Stonewall Texas the week of Christmas.  That is between Austin and Fredericksburg, Texas.  Sarah flew in from Denver to spend the week with us.  Our decoration was a small Christmas tree we placed on the dash of the motorhome.

Friday we spent time in Austin before Sarah flew home.  We drove around downtown to see the Texas Capital, University of Texas campus and the visitor center.
Also found the Whole Foods flagship store. http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/lamar
We ate lunch at “The Picnic” food truck location.  There was also a group from a family reunion at the lunch location.  There were 120 in the family, all ages, all wearing the same t-shirt!  They even helped us sing Happy Birthday to Terry!

Wow, we crammed many activities into 5 days!  We are now headed to Livingston TX, near Houston for the rest of the winter.  We are volunteering at the Escapees Care Center during the month of January.  http://escapeescare.org/
