Week 3 with the grandkids

We were still camped on Buckley Air Force Base in their Family Camp. 

The kids spent some time with Uncle Denver and his family at their house.  How fun to be able to play with cousins and their toys.

GG, Aunt Ginny & cousin Leah came to Denver to spend a couple hours with us.  They saw the RV for the first time, then we had lunch together on base.

We spent Father’s Day with Sarah.  We went out to eat and then to Little Man Ice Cream.  It was worth the wait in line for their yummy ice cream.  The kids played on the slide while waiting.

We have visited many playgrounds on base and in Aurora.  How fun for the kids to enjoy time outside.  It is even more fun when there are other kids at the playground.  Even went to a “Splash Park”.  The kids are having so much fun being outside.  We went to one park and had to walk a ways to the playground.  They got all excited about finding the dandelions in the grass, the ones where they got to blow the white seeds!  They are getting good hanging upside down from their knees and moving along on the monkey bars.

We had dinner at Aunt Sarah’s so the kids got to play with Milo the cat.

Now off to Colorado Springs to camp on the Air Force Academy in their Family Camp.
