We
arrived in Colorado Springs to camp on the Air Force Academy in their Family
Camp. They have a SUPER DUPER playground
just a minute walk from our campsite. The kids are in heaven! We glad to not
have to depend on our GPS to get around town!
They got to spend the day with “Grandma Cheryl &
Grandpa Harold” and had a blast. Then a
special overnight with GG (Great Grandma)!
Seeing the city of Colorado Springs from her 10th floor
apartment and the penthouse floor was quite a thrill!
Kathie drove the kids to Denver to visit with their
other Grandmother, Ray’s mom. She was in
town for the weekend so we all went to the Denver Zoo. They have made many changes there since the
last time I went. Very nice!
We
went to a Farmer’s Market Saturday morning.
The kids were able to get their faces painted. We also went to Focus on the Family Whit's End® Soda Shoppe to
play. Then we went to the Pikes Peak
Library open house for their newest location near Chapel Hills Mall. Alina was thrilled to meet Belle, Cinderella
and Prince Charming there.
Aunt Sarah came to Colorado Springs for a quick
visit. The kids also got a quick visit
with Aunt Tiffany & Grandma Cheryl.
