It is GREAT to be back in Colorado! How nice to not have to depend on the GPS to
get around!
As we drove north on I-25 from Raton NM, the kids were
impressed with the snow on the mountains!
Remember they are kids from Tucson so they don’t see much snow down
there!
As we drove through Colorado Springs, we stopped for gas and
GG met us there for breakfast. I don’t
know who was more excited to see who!
They had not seen each other since Christmas.
We are staying at Buckley AFB while in Denver. We parked in a GREAT spot at the edge of the
camp. When we walk out the door, we are
facing east and can see (not hear) the planes approaching DIA. Xalin is having a blast seeing them and the
old planes on display around the base.
We had dinner with Aunt Sarah the first night. She brought them water guns, so they had a
blast! We have been taking them to a playground
as weather allows. They are having a
ball!
We took them to Kid Spree organized by the city of Aurora
Colorado. They had fun on paddleboat
rides, touch a truck, dog with Frisbees, pony rides and petting zoo.
They already got to see two other sets of relatives since we have been here. Fun times!
