Picking up the Grandkids

We had a nice week in Tucson.  We arrived before the kids last day of school, so we were able to participate in the “end of the school year” ice cream social.

We took the kids and Jen to Saguaro National Park, just 8 miles from their house.  The kids became “junior rangers” for the first time. We hope to participate in that program at every national park we are able to attend.  Both the kids and us adults learned much from that activity!

Thankfully, the weather in Tucson was mild this week.  We did go swimming many days.

Got the kids all packed up and left Tucson with them on Tuesday morning.  Time for a “road trip” to Colorado for the summer!  Let the adventure begin!
