We arrived in Sacramento on Thursday and are having fun
visiting with Stephanie & Daniel. We
also got to meet our grand-kitty Louie.
He is so handsome when he wears his tie. Even got to visit with Daniel’s
parents.
We are using the RV Campground at the CalExpo (State
fairgrounds). The campground area is right
next to the horse track so we were able to watch the horses warm up for the
harness races. We even went over to the
venue Saturday night to watch a couple of races. Pretty horses. I have never seen a harness race in person,
just that one episode of I Love Lucy where she dresses up like a jockey!
CalExpo is right next to the American River which has a
fantastic trail along the river. Terry
has been able to ride his bike along the trail where he saw these turkeys “showing
off”!
We are enjoying the warm California weather this week.
