Enjoying Sacramento

We are halfway through our visit here in Sacramento and are enjoying the warm weather. Terry is riding his bike along the river trail almost daily.  Kathie is going to the Curves clubs in the area.  We have had dinner with Steph & Daniel many evenings.

Since the last post we have been to the Jelly Belly factory, Sacramento Zoo and Sutter’s Fort.  Sutter’s Fort was the first outpost of white civilization in the then interior wilderness of California.  It is right across the street from the church that Stephanie & Daniel were married at.  We never had time to visit the fort the week of the wedding but am glad we had time this trip.  We also attended an open house and school drama production of “Our Town” at the school that Daniel is teaching high school English.

We have been attending the City Life Church where Steph & Dan are involved and attend.  It was a very nice Easter service this morning with a baptism and new members joining.  They had an Easter Egg hunt after church in the park across the street.
