We
finished our volunteer commitment at the Escapees Care Center. The dishwasher died during the month which
meant we had to hand wash all the dishes.
We realized how much we appreciated the dishwasher! We were lucky to have the new one installed
before we left so we could use it a couple of times. It was a GREAT experience to work with such a
unique organization. The residents,
staff and other volunteers were great to work with. They are like minded in wanting to make CARE
the best it can be for now and the future.

We
are still in Livingston, TX at the Escapees Rainbow’s End RV Park, just a few RV spaces away from the Escapees
Care Center. Kathie has volunteered to
help with a couple more projects while we are here for another couple of months.
We
have been resting this first week off and planning our month. There are many items that we were not able to
do during January that we need to get caught up on. We hope to get in some sight
seeing, too! Kathie caught some kind of virus and Terry is hoping he can avoid
getting it!
