We
spent 10 days in Heber Springs Arkansas.
This is the first time Kathie has ever been in the state of Arnaksas.
What a BEAUTIFUL part of the country! We
saw an armadillo and turtle on the road as we arrived in Heber Springs! I guess we aren’t in Colorado
anymore!
The
Greers Ferry Dam here was dedicated by President John F. Kennedy about 6 weeks
before his death in Dallas, TX. Here is
a link to the 50th anniversary of the dedication.
The
Workampers Rendezvous was the reason we came here and we stayed longer to enjoy
the area. Here is an article about the
Conference we attended. We concentrated
on the sessions about the Workamper experience. They presented practical information and we
met some GREAT people. We now have a resume posted for employers to view and we
already have sent our resume in response to openings listed.
Here is an article about the Escapees RV Club that we
are members of. Take a look at the
pictures of their mailroom. Looks like
we “live in a file folder”! We are now
headed to Livingston TX to attend the Escapees RV Book Camp, Nov 7-9 that is
mentioned in this article, too.
