We spent a long weekend with friends in Trinidad Lake State
Park. What a nice Colorado State
Park! We attended a number of the park
ranger programs and learned more about the history of the area. We also took the opportunity to drive the
Scenic Highway of Legends, between Trinidad and Walsenburg Colorado. A beautiful part of the state.
One of our friends brought their boat. We had not been on a lake in decades. Fun times!
We are back camping at the Air Force Academy and we will be in
Colorado Springs till August 26. Terry
likes to ride his bicycle around the Academy.
Kathie is enjoying working out at Curves with her friends. We are
catching up on doctor appointments and other errands.
Spent time with Kathie’s Mom who still lives in Colorado
Springs. Also, checked on boxes in the
storage area.
