Week 6 with the grandkids

We finished up our time in Colorado Springs by driving the kids up to Pikes Peak.  We even found a patch of snow that the kids could play in.  Ate donuts at the gift shop and then watched the cog rail arrive and depart.

Helped GG celebrate her birthday, early, by going to the Denver Botanical Gardens to see the current Chihuli exhibit. Very beautiful art and gardens.

Left Colorado this week to go to Texas to help Terry’s brother and wife celebrate their 50^th wedding anniversary on July 5.  The kids had not been to Texas before and it was their first time to meet the Murrow side of the family.  They had fun playing with their cousins and the dogs.

After Texas we kept going south and west, back to Tucson.  Time to get the kids back home.  They start school July 31.

It was a great 6 weeks with the grandkids.  Many memories were made!
