We had a blast with the grand kids in Tucson this week. We picked them up after school each day, then they came to the motor home for fun and dinner before they had to get back home. Then on Friday & Saturday nights they spent the night with us in the motor home! They are growing up so fast. And smart! We knew we couldn’t spell in front of Alina. She could figure out what you are spelling. So we tried to use initials of words, but she still figured it out!!! She is a smart one!
Got to use the pool and hot tub at the RV Park with the
kids. They had a blast swimming, jumping
in and splashing us! We particularly
liked the hot tub.
Saturday we went to the Desert Museum so they could learn
more about all the plants and animals they see around their home town of
Tucson. It is a BEAUTIFUL museum, most
of it being outdoors. There is an aviary
there with only hummingbirds! Wow, got to see them up close and personal. Even saw one grooming himself! Never saw one stand still long enough to see
that. The drive to the museum on the
west side of town was beautiful. Seeing
all the majestic Saguaro cactus is impressive.
